Adam Busuttil - lead vox.
Patrick Fitzgibbon - drums.
John Phillips - guitar.
Chris Takis - bass.
SIX POINT FIVE is a hard-hitting four piece group from Detroit, Michigan, whose timeless covers of The Temptations, Bob Seger, The Beatles, Van Morrison, and Red Hot Chili Peppers will set any crowd back on their heels and keep them into it all night long. Front man Adam Busuttil's powerful voice captivates the audience, and with one of the cleanest, funkiest, and tightest rhythm sections in Detroit, you've got the recipe for one of the finest bands in the Motor City.

Adam Busuttil (lead vocals) hails from Shelby Township. He started playing violin at age 4, continued on cello and piano, and settled on percussion in middle school. He continued at Eisenhower High School and Michigan State University, where he discovered his ability to use his powerful voice to front the East Lansing-based rock band Brushfire. He's currently a band director in the city of Warren.

Patrick Fitzgibbon (drums) is from Saginaw, and he has extensive experience and training in world music, jazz, and classical traditions. He holds a Percussion Performance degree from Michigan State University where he, Adam, and Chris were students together. He keeps a busy performing and teaching schedule, and is currently on the music faculty at two universities in the state of Michigan.

John Phillips (guitar, vocals) grew up in Romeo and studied saxophone at Central Michigan University’s School of Music. He also began playing guitar in 1995. John's blues-driven guitar riffs help give the band its hard-edged sound. In addition to playing guitar as a member of Six Point Five, John has performed professionally on saxophone in the classical and jazz genres and taught middle school band and high school marching band in the city of Warren for ten years. He is currently a band director in Romeo.

Chris Takis (bass, vocals), born in Saginaw and raised in East Lansing, started taking piano at age 7, percussion at age 11, and guitar at age 13. He marched in the drumline at Michigan State University with Adam and attended the School of Music there. The former guitarist for Brushfire, his Alternative and Motown-inspired bass lines solidify the band's sound. He began teaching in 2005 and is currently a band director in Grosse Pointe.
